This is exactly the ambition of ULTRALISS Academy: an intensive, 1-day in-person training, in small groups (4 to 8 trainees), led by a certified graduate trainer, at 62 Rue Hélène Muller, 94320 Thiais.
Prerequisites: open to all
No prerequisites are required. The training is for hairdressing professionals, people in career transition, and enthusiasts who want to master hair smoothing. A space is reserved for people with disabilities (flexible hours, adapted equipment, assistance on request).
The 5 essential skills taught
The program is built around five areas of expertise that every smoothing expert must master. They are covered in theory, demonstration, and then supervised practice on real models.
- 1. Hair diagnosis & safety — texture reading, porosity, chemical history, choice of appropriate protocol, and safety measures (heat, active products).
- 2. Keratin Brazilian smoothing — the reference protocol: preparation, application, drying, iron sealing. The most requested service in salons.
- 3. Indian & tannin smoothing (formaldehyde-free) — protocols compliant with current regulations, ideal for fragile or colored hair.
- 4. French smoothing & finishes — premium finishing techniques, iron tension, root management, service adapted to fine hair.
- 5. Hair botox & reconstructive treatments — restructuring without smoothing: the essential complement to offer a complete service menu and build customer loyalty.
The schedule for a training day
The day starts at 9:15 am and ends at 6 pm, with a lunch break from 12 pm to 1 pm. Hairdressing station, products, and equipment are provided on site. Each trainee practices on a real model, supervised by the trainer.
